ABSTRACT

This study explores the relationship between Nigerian banks’ performance and financial inclusion. Using access to financial services, rural financing, banking service pricing, and banking service usage as dimensions, and productivity, service efficiency, and customer satisfaction as performance metrics, examining the connection between Nigerian banks’ performance and financial inclusion is the goal. The cross-sectional survey was used in the study. Data was obtained through an in-depth interview and a questionnaire.  The study’s target population consists of 235 top-level employees from 22 deposit Money Bank branches in Rivers State, including branches in Port Harcourt.  SPSS version 23.0, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences, was used to calculate the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient and Partial Correlation. Validity and internal consistency status were verified by Cronbach’s Alpha, and the results were positive.  The study’s conclusions demonstrated a favorable relationship between bank performance and financial inclusion, which ultimately boosts customer satisfaction, productivity, and service efficiency.   The study concluded that performance and financial inclusion are significantly correlated.
