This study examines the relationship between information management and business performance in Rivers State, emphasizing the role of subsisting breakfast meetings. Using a descriptive survey research design, data was collected from 264 business professionals across 15 companies in Port Harcourt, specifically within Onne/Eleme, Obio-Akpor, and Port Harcourt City. The study utilized structured questionnaires to analyze the independent variable – Information management and its dimension such as knowledge retention index, information utilization rate over the dependent variable – Business performance, and its measures – customer retention rate, and operational efficiency. Moderating Breakfast meeting with networking efficiency as an indicator. Findings reveal a significant positive correlation between effective information management and business performance, with structured breakfast meetings serving as a catalyst for knowledge-sharing, networking, and strategic decision-making. Publicly owned businesses exhibited challenges in information retention due to bureaucratic delays, whereas privately owned firms leveraged breakfast meetings for agility and innovation. The results highlight that firms prioritizing digital transformation and structured networking achieve superior performance outcomes. It is recommended that businesses invest in advanced data management systems and actively participate in industry networking to enhance competitiveness and sustainability.
