Intrinsic and extrinsic motivation were considered as the dimension for this study, effectiveness and efficiency were adopted as the measure of corporate performance while organizational culture is the moderating variable. This study adopted a cross-sectional research design because respondents were drawn from 44 manufacturing firms registered with the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria and listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. The population consists of 220 management staff which was achieved by administering 5 copies of the questionnaire to each of the organizations. Our hypotheses were tested with multiple regression and partial correlation. This was done with the aid of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 26.
