The aim of the study was to examine the relationship between stakeholders’ involvement and project implementation success of Niger Delta Development Commission’s Projects in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria with stakeholders’ interest as the moderating variable. The dimensions of stakeholders’ involvement were stakeholders’ communication, stakeholders’ consultation, and stakeholders ‘joint project planning and monitoring, joint conflict resolution while timely delivery and budget delivery were the measures of project implementation success. This study adopted a mixture of qualitative and quantitative research designs. The population of the study was 960 respondents who were stakeholders of the five (5) states comprising Akwa Ibom, Edo, Ondo and Abia. The sample size was determined through the instrumentality of the Taro Yamane formula to be 384 respondents and the structured questionnaire was administered to them. Data collected were converted to quantitative numbers through coding and analyzed using the Correlation Analysis and Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression techniques. The results indicate that positive and significant relationship exists between all the dimensions of stakeholder’s involvement and the measures of project implementation success except for joint conflict resolution and budget delivery. It is therefore recommended that the management of the Niger Delta Development Commission should embrace the approach of involving all the stakeholders whenever projects are being contemplated to be embarked upon and ultimately executed especially in the area of joint conflict resolution so as to ensure that budgets are implemented within approved limits.
